OUR CUSTOM PROCESS

STEP 1 - The Consultation

The first step in creating your custom jewelry piece is a quick consultation with Kelsey. We are able to accomodate phone, video, or in-person meetings for this initial conversation.

It is always helpful to arrive to this meeting with a general idea of what you are looking for! Don't know specifics? Don't worry — that is what we are here for :)

Examples of what to think about ahead of your meeting:
- Do I want stones in my custom piece? If yes — what types of gemstones stones would I like to use?
- Do I have any materials I'd like to repurpose in this piece?
- What material do I want my custom piece to be made of?
- Do I have any reference images or ideas?

If you don't have any specifics in mind — that's ok too! We love a good brainstorm session!

STEP 2 - The Design Process

After your consultation, Kelsey will begin designing your custom piece!

There is a $150 non-refundable design fee that will be collected at this point to cover design time, research, initial stone sourcing and any additional steps needed. Your design fee also covers one round of design alterations and tweaks.

Once an initial design is created, we will schedule another quick meeting to go over all aspects of your piece including final pricing.

After your design is finalized, you will sign a custom design contract showing approval of the design. 50% of the total amount due is required at this step.

STEP 3 - The Production Phase

Following design approval and 50% payment — the production phase begins! Our favorite part!

This step includes final stone sourcing, hand-carving, casting, stone setting, polishing, and a multitude of other details. The final product being your unique custom piece!

STEP 4 - It's Finished!

At this point your design is finished! We will reach out to your based on previous steps to either schedule an in-person pick up or ship your custom jewelry piece to your door.

The remaining 50% payment is due at pick-up or before shipment.

You get to wear your beautiful new piece of jewelry! :)
